We are seeking an experienced Head Developer to lead the technical development of the CommandSuite platform. The Head Developer is responsible for overseeing the architecture, development standards, and technical direction of the system. You will lead the development team, ensure best practices are followed, and work closely with management to translate ideas into scalable and reliable systems. This role involves both hands-on development and leadership responsibilities, ensuring the platform remains secure, performant, and maintainable as it grows. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building systems, leading developers, and designing scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

Strong experience in modern web development (e.g. React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript)

Experience with APIs, authentication systems, and databases (specifically MongoDB)

Strong understanding of system architecture and scalable design

Experience with Git workflows and deployment environments

Ability to lead and mentor a team

Strong problem solving and decision making skills

Desirables

Experience with Docker

Knowledge of security best practices

Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment

Experience building SaaS platforms
